About Linda

Personal Story

Linda has been a teacher most of her adult life, and enjoys sharing with others the knowledge and expertise that she has acquired. Always interested in health and wellness, she was introduced to yoga at the age of thirteen and very naturally incorporated it into her lifestyle, drawing upon it to find ease and comfort amid the stresses of everyday life.  She now feels honored and privileged to be able to transmit these timeless practices so that others may benefit from them as she continues to do.

As a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer she constantly expands upon and upgrades her skills by participating in classes and by keeping current with health and exercise research.  She firmly believes that anyone, regardless of current fitness level, can vastly improve their quality of life by increasing strength, balance and flexibility through appropriate exercise strategies.

A “health foodie” from an early age, she loves to create foods that are delicious and nourishing while avoiding those items that are likely to provoke negative reactions throughout the body.  She finds that a nutrient-dense, plant-based and minimally processed eating style builds an excellent foundation for vibrant physical health.

Professional History

Linda has been teaching yoga since 2011 at a variety of public and private venues in Charlotte County.  These include the studio Yoga at Periwinkle Place, the Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda and Bayfront YMCA facilities, and the Charlotte County Public Schools Shape-Up Charlotte Program where she currently offers five yoga classes per week at four school sites.

She is a Certified Personal Trainer, offering private yoga and strength training services as well as small-group TRX classes at the Franz Ross YMCA in Port Charlotte.  She also teaches a class in Meditations for Conscious Living at the Bayfront YMCA, and offers nutritional counseling at the Port Charlotte YMCA in addition to offering small-group Nutritional Seminars and Workshops in her home.
